Since our subdivision pool opening this summer, I regularly swim at least 5 times each week. Now I can obviously feel my health improves and my weight is losing. Anybody has experiences of swimming help losing weight?

Dude, swimming is surely a good sports. But are you getting fun with it? If so, it will certainly helps yu losing weight. In fact, any sports as long as you do it crazlier, you will lose your weight. That's what I do. As long as I got fun in a sports, I just do it and no doubt, I lose weight. By the way, the tools here are pretty good to monitor the weight!  Good luck, pal

i think alot of the research dismisses alot of variables. i think the summaries of the lack of weight loss with swimming compared to other forms of exercise is based on people who don’t swim fast and volunteers for the study who want to lose wt. and don’t exercise on a consistent basis. however, the study conducted looking at water temp and increase wt. gain has its merits. i think one can lose wt. with swimming if they reduce their caloric intake and swim fast enough to increase their heart rate. it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to sort this out.
